Mary Moller
Executive Director
Mary leads the overall strategic direction and administration of OPU’s priorities in conjunction with the presidents of Oregon’s eight public universities. She is the primary point of contact for HECC, the Governor’s Office, state agencies, and partner associations.
Mary has a proud history with public universities, having previously served as President of the Associated Students of Portland State University and later as Director of Federal and Local Government Relations for PSU. Mary has also worked as Congressional staff, in the Governor’s Office, and in leadership roles at various state agencies.
Christopher McMorran
Assistant Director
Christopher manages OPU’s efforts in communications, advocacy, budget development, and project management. He is the primary point of contact for legislative offices, the media, and other advocates. He also coordinates budget and fiscal requests between the universities.
Prior to joining OPU, Christopher served as a Chief of Staff in both the Oregon State Senate and the Oregon House of Representatives, serving both urban and rural districts. He grew up in a family with both parents working in public higher education.
